Choose between A4 and A3
The family calendar with monthly overview is available in two sizes. Choose your format according to how much you normally write and where the calendar will hang.
A4 – compact and easy to display
Our popular A4 family calendar is a convenient choice for the family’s most important plans.
The format works well on smaller walls and provides a clear overview without taking up too much space. A4 is perfect for the hallway, kitchen, home office or a smaller planning area.
A4 is ideal if you:
- Want a convenient format
- Mainly add the most important activities
- Have limited wall space
- Want to see the entire month in one place
- Need a family calendar that is easy to display
Size: 210 × 297 mm
A3 – extra space for the family’s plans
A3 is our new and more spacious family calendar for anyone who wants more room to write.
The larger format gives each day and column more space. It is especially suitable for families with lots of activities, longer notes or several people who add information to the calendar themselves.
A3 is ideal if you:
- Want plenty of extra writing space
- Have lots of activities to keep track of
- Want the calendar to be easy to read from a distance
- Have children who write in their own columns
- Want the family calendar to become a prominent feature in the home
Size: 297 × 420 mm
Everyone gets their own column
Create up to five personalised columns and customise them with names, colours and photos. This makes it easy to see whose activity appears where.
Let each family member choose their own colour, or use photos to make the planning clear for younger children too. You can also dedicate one of the columns to activities involving the whole family.
Columns can be used for:
- Adults
- Children
- Pets
- Shared activities
- Meal planning
- Household tasks
- Training and leisure
- Important reminders
It is your family and your calendar. You decide how to use the columns.
Four ways to use the monthly overview
1. See the month’s most important activities
Add training sessions, matches, meetings, medical appointments, school activities and birthday parties to the appropriate column.
A quick glance shows you what lies ahead throughout the month and which periods require some extra planning.
2. Create a shared family column
Use one column for activities involving the whole family. Add days out, trips, celebrations, dinners and days off.
This makes it easy to distinguish personal activities from plans you share.
3. Give the children responsibility
Let the children choose a colour and photo for their column. Encourage them to add activities and important events themselves.
This makes the planning more visual and helps children understand what will happen further ahead.
4. Plan the fun things
The family calendar does not have to contain only obligations. Add film nights, days out, dinners and free weekends too.
Giving your enjoyable plans a clear place makes them easier to prioritise.
Share the planning
When the family’s plans are visible, more people can help keep everyday life organised.
Children who can read and write can add activities, homework and things they want to remember. Adults can add working hours, meetings and tasks. Shared activities can be collected in a dedicated family column.
The family calendar becomes a shared space where everyone can contribute instead of one person having to carry the entire plan in their head.
Four ways to use your family calendar
1. Collect every activity
Add training sessions, matches, meetings, medical appointments, birthday parties and school activities to the right person’s column.
A quick glance shows you who needs to be where and whether several activities are happening at the same time.
2. Involve the children
Give each child a column with their name, photo and favourite colour. Let them add activities, homework and things they want to remember.
Younger children can use symbols, colours and stickers to understand what is happening during the week.
3. Plan the week’s meals
Use a separate column or meal-planning module to add the week’s dinners. Ask the family what they would like and spread everyone’s favourite meals across the week.
Once the dinners are planned, it becomes easier to create a shopping list and avoid asking, “What are we having for dinner?” every afternoon.
4. Hold a short family meeting
Get together once a week and review the calendar. Who needs a lift? What needs to be taken to school? Is there anything everyone needs to prepare?
Keep the meeting short and encourage everyone to contribute their own plans.
Plan more than appointments
The family calendar can bring several parts of everyday life together. Use the columns and modules for things that might otherwise end up on loose notes or remain in someone’s head.
Plan things such as:
- The week’s dinners
- Pick-ups and drop-offs
- Training sessions and matches
- School activities
- Homework and tests
- Parties and birthdays
- Medical and dental appointments
- Household tasks
- Who needs a lift
- Family activities
- Days out and trips
- Important reminders
Add personalised dates
Fill the calendar with birthdays, anniversaries and other important dates for your family.
When the calendar arrives, these dates will already be printed in the right places. This makes it easier to plan celebrations, buy presents on time and remember the days that mean something special.
You can also add recurring dates for relatives, friends and other people who are important to your family.
Start whenever it suits you
A new family calendar does not have to begin in January. You choose the starting month and can begin planning whenever your family needs it.
Start before the new school year, after the summer, at New Year or whenever everyday life enters a new phase. The calendar runs for twelve months from your chosen starting month.
Choose your language
Personalise your family calendar by selecting the language that suits your home. This makes it useful for multilingual families and a lovely gift for family and friends in other countries.
