Red days in 2025
It's not easy to keep track of all the holidays and public holidays. They are scattered here and there on the calendar and often end up on different dates each year. Sometimes a public holiday can also fall on a Saturday or Sunday, oh my! But luckily, 2025 doesn't offer a lot of such days. But how should you think, and when should you actually take the opportunity to take time off to get as many days off in a row as possible? We have the answers! Easter 2025
Easter falls in April this year, a whole month later than last year. We think that's nice! If you take the day off on Maundy Thursday, April 17, you get a classic long weekend and four days off. Ascension Day 2025
Thursday, May 29th, we celebrate the Ascension of Christ 2025. So it's perfect to take Friday, May 30th off to have four days off. What a great start to the summer, isn't it? Christmas 2025
Christmas 2025 is a really nice Christmas from a vacation point of view. If you take Monday, December 22 and Tuesday, December 23 off, you will be off for a full nine days in a row, if you count the weekend before and after. Do you want to maximize both Christmas and New Year 2025? Then you continue and take off on Monday, December 29, Tuesday, December 30 and Friday, January 2. Then you will be off for a full 16 days in a row, wow! In short: In 2025 you can take 5 days off and be off for 16, hooray!
